Hi and welcome to my website.

Creating art is an immersive journey for me, a dance between intention and spontaneity. Each piece, whether abstract, landscape, or still life is a testament to a moment in time, capturing an essence that words often fail to convey.

New Landscapes 2024

Sometimes transformative power fuels the need to explore new paths or rediscover old paths. Mason’s early days found her painting en plein-air landscapes in the US, Canada and France thus finding inspiration in the natural world was the driving force. A return to landscape painting signifies a desire to reconnect with those roots. Casey-Mason is exploring familiar subjects with a renewed perspective in 2024.

2024 Oversized Abstracts

These two abstract pieces Composition I and Composition II, both 59in x 59in executed in oils, emerged from the depths of a months long creative block. A narrative of an artist’s journey.

Casey-Mason’s mid-scale abstract works in 2023 are characterized by the use of luscious strokes of oil paint on black canvases with rich and textured areas that draw the viewer in with their depth and complexity. Each spontaneous stroke is applied either with a palette knife or brush creating a sense of depth and dimensionality that is both captivating and immersive.
